Duncan Tulip Glitter Spray

I can't wait to try this out in the near future. I better go to bed now so I can get up and greet the sunlight at the beach!

Ocean Dreamer

After a crazy week at CHA, for my half day free on Thursday, I decided to go to Laguna Beach. I hadn't been there in a while, and I was yearning to satisfy my ocean dreamer urges. So away I went to the ocean, where I stopped by one of my favorite shops called Art for the Soul. I purchased some Dream items, which captivated my heart. I also brought along my new Love Who You Are Pa Pa Ya! journal, which will be full of my favorite quotes, dreams, inspiration, music lyrics, and my heart's desires, full of dreams.

Sending Love in the Mail

I have been busy creating new gifts for Valentine's Day, and this is what I came up with. I just sent these off in the mail today. Shh! Don't tell...

For my Stud Muffin Bro. I have always loved David and Goliath sayings. They crack me up.

A tag I made for my mom, her favorite Red Vines and cinnamon bears.

The decorated package that I sent my family's way.

My gift for John. I think he will like it. :)

Creating at the CHA Convention

This past week I attended the Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) that I attended with Stampington & Company. This was was my first show and I loved it. I met many current advertisers, future advertisers (I hope!), artists, big companies, new product lines, and more! It was wonderful to browse the show each day since Sunday, but now I am super tired. I would say my favorite booth was Duncan and I loved learning about their dye product called Tulip. I also enjoyed Prima Marketing Inc. scrapbooking papers. Below are some pictures of the CHA adventure, from Sunday, the 25th through Wednesday, the 28th.

Our Advertising Team

The amazing Duncan booth, with all of the radiant colors from dye! I can't wait to play.

Me with the Scrapbook Diva and the Duke of Crafts, who were signing their book Designing Diva and Friends. They signed mine!

I was absolutely thrilled to see the talented, beautiful, actress and artist Jane Seymour. I grew up watching Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman with my family and I was always a fan of hers. I have watched many of her movies as well and my favorite is Somewhere In Time. I was seriusly star struck as Laura and I briefly watched her paint. I missed her book signing since I was at a meeting. Bummer!

Here Jane Seymour just finished her painting. I love the heart surrounded in silver. It turned out so amazing!

There was also a ton of scrapbooking booths; one of my favorties was the Prima Marketing Inc. products. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the imaginary Mulberry Papers! They are so whimsical and dreamy.

I will leave you with this fun picture of Tina, Cheryl, and I at the Provo Craft booth, where our friendly cricket friend showed us around.

Gibbous Fashions

My latest obsession? Anything that has to do with lace. Well, I guess this obsession isn't new since my mama raised me to love lace and wear it since I was a little girl dressed in pink. Jenny Doh, our Editor In Chief of Stampington introduced me to this web site: www.gibbousfashions.com and I love their creativity and style! Whether you want to be a princess, sweetheart, mermaid, a damsel in distress, ballerina, fairy, go to a castleland, candyland, or any other far off place, these gowns make you feel like you are a part of a fantasy world, waiting to be rescued by your prince. These dresses make me want to hop on a plane to home and have my mom teach me how to sew this minute! I must begin my new collection of lace, satin, silk, and anything that has to do with these beautiful wonders.
