Airstream Song

Thank you so much for your feedback yesterday.
I am so blessed with all of you!
Thank you for your honesty and your sincerity.
It meant a lot to me and I want you to know.
I was a bit hesitant to push the publish button
and every one of you made it worth while.
Thank you for visiting this ocean blog
that I consider a little bit of a home to me.
I wanted to do a bit of a lighter post today.
Do you all like country music?
Well I do but it has to be in small doses.
One of my favorite singers besides
Carrie Underwood of course is Miranda Lambert.
She's a gem and I love her song Airstream Song.
No, I am not feeling restless like this song suggests.
But you all know how much I like to get away
and just enjoy life and create new adventures in my life.
This song expresses that and so much more.
So I am going to post the lyrics with pictures!
Plus you get your pictures back because
I am going to use the lyrics with pictures.
Cool deal, huh?
Enjoy!
Sometimes I wish I lived in Airstream
Homemade curtains, lived just like a gypsy
Break a heart, roll out of town
Cause gypsies never get tied down
Sometimes I wish I lived on a mountain
Drank from a stream instead of a fountain
I'd stay there, top of the world
But I was born a red dirt girl
Unbridled or tethered and tied
The safety of the fence or the danger of the ride
I'll always be unsatisfied
Sometimes I wish I lived by a pier
In a lighthouse with a chandelier
I'd watch everybody's ships come in
And then I'd sail away with them

Unanchored in the storm
Or safely on the shore
If this is all I need, why do I want more
Sometimes I wish I lived in an airstream
Homemade curtains, lived just like a gypsy
Have a wonderful Thursday evening Ocean Dreamers!

  15. Now I first had to read your previous post and yes, I agree, one can easily get sucked into the idea of getting more readers, being more popular etc. But I also think the combination of visuals and thoughts is quite appealing and why not make it a bit easier for your readers? I definitely love your picture choices today. Country music? Sometimes...
