I'm relaxing tonight while BK is catching up
on work, and I've recently found myself
falling in love with photography and
taking pictures of everything I love.
Perhaps it's because my unravelling class
has given me the excuse to let go and take
pictures of things I never thought I would capture,
or perhaps it is just another way for me to express
myself, through lovely images and to show you
all just another part of my heart.
With that being said, here are some simple
Friday delights that are making me smile.
My self adhesive LOVE stamps that I used
on my Valentine's that I sent out.
The design of the King and Queen are so cute
with their flowers, crowns, and hearts.
Perfect timing for Valentine's Day!
Sometimes when BK walks away from his work
temporarily I write something down on his
current paper that he is making notes on,
like above where it says I Love BK.
I love how he then doodled around my letters,
in my letters, and continued to use the paper. Ha ha.
Pretty darn cute if you ask me.
My new ring that I shouldn't have bought
but I did anyway. I love the swirly design,
the way it takes up half my finger,
and how it fits just right. :)
My blue sparkly toe nail polish,
that that will only remind me
of the ocean when I'm away from CA.
This ring I came across from one of the blogs
I follow, I told BK that I would love to have
a similar ring as my engagement ring someday! :)
I'm hoping for someday soon!!
It's a sapphire, the same as my birthday stone.
A little nontraditional for an engagement ring
but we'll see when we get to that point.
This quote that I tumbled and people
just can't seem to stop retumbling it.
Seems to me that makes a bold statement
that everyone feels disappointed every once
in a while by those they love
and instead of dwelling on the past
or the hurts, we have to learn how to move on,
forgive, and let go...
A netflix movie that I recently watched
called Charlotte Grey starring Kate Blanchett
and Billy Crudup was really good.
Set during WWII, this is a tale of self discovery,
heartache, adventure, sadness,
and new found love. I highly recommend it!
It was very emotional and romantic.
I never really realized what a beauty
Kate Blanchett was until watching this film.
The film was based off of the book Charlotte Grey, I'm
putting it on my list to read this year
for my reading challenge!
I hope you find some delights this weekend
that make you happy.
