California recap

Happy May!

I can't believe it is May already! Where has all of the time gone?!
I'm excited for spring and summer to arrive - but this means I need to
go to my storage system in CA to get all of my summer wear out! It's buried!

So this recap is going to be on some of the adventures I had in sunny CA.
I have a ton of pictures of when I was in San Francisco for a day too
but I am going to save that for a future post since I have several pictures
on this post already.

So I have a few announcements on some AMAZING GIVEAWAYS
before I begin my picture filled post.

1. Have you entered into the If The Shoe Doesn't Fit's giveaway?
The entries are really low and I know one of you
would love this fashionable collector's shoe!

2. My sponsor Apothica is having a Mother's Day giveaway and wanted
me to spread the word! Here's the link for the giveaway: HERE.
The best comments will receive a $250 dollar gift card! yay! :)
All you have to do to enter is post a comment on their
page explaining why your mom deserves the $250 Gift Card.

So now unto my Southern California pictures. I did a lot of, well, eating in CA.
Utah does not have yummy Popchips, at least where I live. So one of the first things
I bought? Yep, you got it. Some amazing Popchips at Bristol Farms. The chips that
you are looking at are sour cream and onion. Yum!
Another delicious food I bought at Bristol Farms? This fruit tart.
I seriously had not had a fruit tart in years and it was to die for.
Sooooo good.
I mentioned this before but on the first day I arrived I was greeted with
beautiful sun flowers from my BK. Naturally I put them by my wedded bliss
magazines and my Coastal Living mag as well, ha ha.
A sneak peek into my day at San Francisco - I went to the
Juicy Couture store (huge I might add,) where I tried on several
outfits. I went home with a blue dress (picture later) and this romper.
It was my first and probably the last romper I will buy.
I don't think they are that flattering on me but I really liked this one
because of the ruffle and because it is Juicy.
Sorry the picture isn't that clear - I quickly look it while
I was in the dressing room on my new Droid. :)
BK and I like to visit a pet store at Fashion Island. I don't support buying
animals there but it is fun just the same to go there and visit the cute puppies.
Guess which puppy I decided to play with? Surprise, surprise, a mini Doxie is
what I chose to hold, play with, and adore.
Isn't he precious?!
I also got a pedicure while I was with my mom and aunt.
I love it when my feet look and feel pretty.
I experimented with my short hair and made it curly. I have to admit I
miss my long hair - but I know it went to a good cause. I think
I have decided to grow out my hair again - but until then I will
have fun with my short curly do!
preparing for a wedding! This is the set up. Isn't it gorgeous? I would
love to get married over looking the water. The only disadvantage would be all
of the sand and it gets quite windy at this beach sometimes. In fact, It was windy
that day and if I were a bride I wouldn't want my hair all messed up.

So there you have it! I gave you some glimpses of my fabulous trip to California.

Next adventure?

Well I'm sure I'll be headed back to CA in a month or two to see my love
and I also might be making a trip to Arizona to house sit for my aunt and uncle!
They have an adorable Maltese puppy that I am dying to see.

I hope you all have a wonderful week.

Next up this week for posts?
I'll be introducing my Ocean Dreamer of May
and I also have a wonderful gal who is going to guest post on
none other than fashion of course.

  9. What a precious doggie! I think your hair is so cute and fun right now, but I know I'd miss my long hair too. I have a hard time with rompers too. I always want to get one, but I feel like I look like a kid wearing a baby balloon romper when I try them on.

  12. looks like SO MUCH FUN, the food and shopping and that wedding scene! Though I think you're right, looks a little windy for my wedding taste because my eyes water so much, but certainly beautiful eye candy. I'm sorry you miss your long hair but keep in mind that it looks SO cute on you and I think you did a great job with the style. my gf is donating hers on Wednesday, I'm excited for her :) :) glad you're back and gettring nestled back in!
