Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is my Daddy's birthday. We're celebrating by going to one of his and my family's favorite restaurant called Flemmings. Have you been there? It's delicious!

Moving back home to spend time with my family before I re-locate back to California full time has been such a blessing. Since my Grandpa passed away I'm glad that I was local so I could be here for my family and for my dad. If I would have been in CA it would be proved more challenging. My dad has been so strong through losing his Father and my Grandpa even though I know it must be hard. Losing my Grandpa makes me cherish my moments with my dad all the more.
I've been blessed to grow closer to my Dad this past year as well. We've become work out buddies and our adventures at our cabin has created long lasting memories. Most of all though, I love my dad for his funny sense of humor (even though Mom may not laugh all of the time, ha ha), his wonderful understanding, and ability to make me laugh even when I may be in a bad mood. Throughout this past year he was there for me when I went through hard times and offered great advice without judgement. I truly couldn't ask for a better Daddy and friend.
A picture I've always loved of my dad. This was taken on my birthday 5 years ago. ;)
My daddy loves his cactus shots! This was a shot I took in Arizona. :) He gave me my love of ghost towns, western movies, and my adventurous spirit.
Ha ha this gives you a glimpse of my Daddy's amazing sense of humor!
My Daddy also likes to ocean dream! Matter of fact, my Daddy also used to live in CA where he went surfing! This shot was taken in Maui, Hawaii. He also loves to fish!!

Daddy,

Thank you so much for being a wonderful father, friend, and someone I know I can count on. I'm also so glad that I have a work out buddy and someone to keep me constantly entertained. You always manage to bring a smile to my face, even when I'm not in the best of moods. Your hard work inspires me to be a hard worker and I love that you succeed in everything you do. Because of you I've become a person who is inspired to love others more, give back to those less fortunate than myself, and just enjoy life. I'm so glad that you're my Daddy and I can't wait for our future adventures and days of laughter! Oh, and nuts, berries, and fish! ;)

I hope you have a wonderful birthday! I love you!

Love, Yea Yea (I think that is how you spell it!)
