Moving back home to spend time with my family before I re-locate back to California full time has been such a blessing. Since my Grandpa passed away I'm glad that I was local so I could be here for my family and for my dad. If I would have been in CA it would be proved more challenging. My dad has been so strong through losing his Father and my Grandpa even though I know it must be hard. Losing my Grandpa makes me cherish my moments with my dad all the more.
A picture I've always loved of my dad. This was taken on my birthday 5 years ago. ;)
Ha ha this gives you a glimpse of my Daddy's amazing sense of humor!
"The Salty Captain"
Thank you so much for being a wonderful father, friend, and someone I know I can count on. I'm also so glad that I have a work out buddy and someone to keep me constantly entertained. You always manage to bring a smile to my face, even when I'm not in the best of moods. Your hard work inspires me to be a hard worker and I love that you succeed in everything you do. Because of you I've become a person who is inspired to love others more, give back to those less fortunate than myself, and just enjoy life. I'm so glad that you're my Daddy and I can't wait for our future adventures and days of laughter! Oh, and nuts, berries, and fish! ;)
I hope you have a wonderful birthday! I love you!
Love, Yea Yea (I think that is how you spell it!)
