falling for fall coloring in my own back yard

Well hello Ocean Dreamers!

Yes...I'm still here. Sorry for the lack of posts this week.
I admit this was partly because I had a huge (but wonderful) writing project I was working on.
But now I'm back and I'm going to post a little post for you all
and also catch up on your blogs this weekend.

Please keep my Grandpa in your prayers.
He's in the hospital with pneumonia for the third time.
Also - not to confuse you, since most of you know that
my other Grandpa passed away earlier this year,
the Grandpa I'm talking about now is my Step-Grandpa.
But of course I love him just as much. :)
So it's crazy to think that all of our fall coloring in Utah is fading away. But the good news is that I was able to snap some photos before the leaves began falling off of the branches! There is currently some fall coloring that has remained, but the vibrant colors of orange and red are gone. :(

Want to see some more pictures I took?
 {This photo was taken at dusk hence why the added orange coloring.}

All of these photos are right near my house in Utah.
This is the first year that I've been in Utah in 7 years during the fall time!
I definitely feel blessed and love feeling joyful over the fall time nature.
{This photo below is my favorite. I love the light coming through the trees.)
{Isn't it cool how the trees match the lines on the road?}
{A sweet cabin near our church.}
A quick story about this picture:
A few days ago when my brother was raking up the leaves in our yard I decided to have some fun and jump in the leaves!! I was so excited about the leaves that I forgot about my furry socks and well, let's just say the leaves are still stuck all over them, ha ha. But I don't care - it was so much fun jumping in those leaves!
{We had and still have a lot of leaves in our yard right now!}
Sorry that I don't have a stitch of makeup on,
but I wanted to give you an idea of how
tall the leaf pile was before
my brother gathered it up into a garbage can!

Goodbye beautiful leaves!

I hope you enjoyed all of the fall time photos!
I'll be back with more fall time photos for you all to enjoy! :)
Have a lovely weekend.
