Newport Beach sand and sunsets

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Newport Beach for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

You all know how much I love the beach. Ever since I was in high school I dreamed of moving to California so that I could enjoy the ocean every day and live in a state that I knew I would adore. Well, 9 years later I'm happy to say that I'm still in love with CA just as much now as I was in 2003 when I graduated from high school. I don't think anyone or anything would ever change my mind or change my love affair with the sea.

One of my favorite beaches happens to be Newport Beach not only because it was right near my campus (when I was in college), but because there is so much to do there! I remember renting a low bike and riding it along the water when I first moved there and I remember my friends snapping fun pictures of me during a study break. I made so many memories when I first moved there in 2003 and today I still yearn to make more memories! My move was worth it and everytime I leave my ocean dreams I yearn to be there once more

I've never stayed at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach hotel, but I've heard wonderful things about it. If you are heading to CA to visit (I definitely think you should!), then you shoulde check out the great deals that this hotel is offering. Have a family? Head to Southern CA and buy one room at the Hyatt for full price and receive a connecting room for kids 18 and under at 50% off! Yay and this is a great deal.

This hotel sounds amazing too. The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is a resort-style bayside hotel and it is located on 26 acres of land. Plus - it has 3-pools and whirlpools, shuffle board, ping pong, a 9-hole, and a par-3 golf course. Sounds like fun to me! Call 800-233-1234 and mention the Family Plan to book today!

My mom and I were just in Newport Beach last weekend and we had an amazing time. We had a bite to eat (susuhi of course) and I drove by the ocean. Of course there are always more ocean activities to participate in and one of my dreams has been to ride a horse by the water. I'm going to make this happen one day I know it. Besides riding a horse near the ocean though, I just love putting my feet in the sand and watching the sunset. It's such a lovely beach to go to read a good book and watch the sun go down.

{ picture I snapped of the beach yesterday! }

Newport beach to me is all about the ocean of course, but it is also about the sand and sunsets.

Stick your feet in the sand when you get there and you'll know what I mean. Watch a sunset and you'll fall in love with Newport beach.

Have you been to Newport beach before?

  1. I absolutely love beaches! I wish I could spend more time at them. It was nice weather in England a few days ago, so we went to the beach, but sadly the ones here are very rocky, and there was hardly any water! Newport Beach looks amazing.

  2. Newport is my fav beach. I grew up going there and spent many college and post-college nights at the bars (I love Woodys!). You're making me miss my time in the OC!
